Advantages of LCD TV Over Plasma TV

Statistics shows that 98% of American households own a television unit and spends at least 3 hours and 48 minutes of viewing time per day. Television has become a very important household necessity for many people, adults and children alike. With the increasing demand of modern technology advancement, companies try to move along with the fast paced lifestyle people are living in right now.

LCD TV is less prone to burn-in from images that are displayed for a long period of time which has become a problem with early models of plasma TV. It provides a more stable image quality that avoids eye fatigue for those who spends long hours of TV watching. Aside from these, LCD Television has a longer life span of 50,000 hours of viewing time than Plasma TV's 30,000 hours. The best advantage of LCD TV is that it is cheaper compared to Plasma TV, making it a more recommendable choice for consumers who want their money to be all worth it. It is also known to be more energy saving than plasma sets, so you don't have to worry about your electric bill all the time.

You must always remember that it is not a matter of having the latest and most hip television out in the market. You must be able to weigh the advantage and disadvantages it might bring. It is always better to choose the ones that are of high quality, more affordable and longer lasting to make your money all worth it.
